Default my hatch has no radio

i just recently bought my 94 vx but the car has no radio at all theres just a black plastic piece where a radio should be. The previous owner bought it from the dealer with out a radio. I was wondering the car should be hooked up with the wires for a cd player rite? If not what do i need to have a cd player in the car.

All the wiring should be behind the plastic cover. Just put in a cd player.

He will need speakers too. I bought a 95 DX back in 95 and it was the same way.
