*Help Plz*
I Was Wondering If Anyone Could Help Me With A Problem Ive Been Having With My Car. I Have A '99 Accord LX. The Problem Im Having Is That The Car Turns Off While Im Driving Both Freeway And Street. Im Guessing Its An Electrical Issue Because The Car Shuts Off Completely, The Cluster, The Radio, Everything. Sometimes I Have To Hold The Ignition On A Little Bit Longer Than Usual To Start The Car. And On A Rare Ocassion The Cluster Flickers And The Car Starts Acting Up. Im Thinking Its Either The ECU Or Maybe The Ignition? Any Ideas?

Well I Have Only Had The Car Since 2004. What Year Was The Recall? My Brother Had The Car Before Me And As Far As I Know He Didnt Get It Done And Neither Did I. I Have No Clue On Whether Any Previous Owner Had It Done Either.
Alright Ill Check That Out. So Besides That Can There Be Any Other Explanation For This? Thinking Back I Remember That It Started Happening After I Disconnected My Battery Several Times. Oh And Also When I Go Get My Car Smogged The Smog Guy Said Something About My Computer Not Keeping Its Memory Or Something? Although That Was Still The Case Even Years Before My Car Started Turning Off By Itself.

Theignition switch is a known problem. Get it taken care of and go from there.
