i got a 93 civic hatch stock motor i want to get turbo i searched but didnt find anything on it 4 a stock civic iam new so iam not sure where 2 start please help me and what iam my looking at price wise ?? (for something good no ebay ) only reason i want its because i was told its better turbo 4 now than a swap

Search some more.

You'll know it's VTEC by reading your valve cover...it should say "VTEC" on it and you'll be spending around $3,000 (probably more) for a complete turbo kit, or you could piece together one yourself for cheaper.

And then add in some kind of tuning program (Hondata, Crome, etc.) and then add in around tuning on a dyno by a shop.

to OP 2000-3000 for a good turbo kit. and not all valve covers say vtec on them. there should be a solenoid to the left of the of the valve cover

 

or better yet since they prob don't know what a solenoid looks like. tell us the stamped number on passenger side of the block below the head. should start with a d
