I believe the the valves are ferera but I'm unsure exactly what springs and retainers. I was all included in the JG head package. I was told the it has around 5K on the head. This head is in very good condition and it features the smoothest port and polish that I have ever seen. If you see it in person you will see what I'm talking about. Pictures don't do it justice (mostly because my camera sucks)

Anyways I'm putting my motor together very soon and this is the difference between my high compression setup being streetable and race gas only.

The combustion camber on the bottom was reshaped to look like a GSR combustion camber. The B16/ITR has round cambers and the GSR has flat sided cambers which ideal for ignition and also helps revent detonation.

I am interested in your head. You should send me some pictures to my email jdmboyef9@yahoo.com because I'm looking for an itr head. if you can get a pic of the backside where the distributor bolts up, the head stamp and the ports if you can. I would like to work out a trade if the condition is good.

I contacted JE to verify that it is one of their heads and was told, "[B]That head is indeed ours. My guess is that it was done about 6-7 years ago...I place my guess
in that spring and retainer kit was discontinued about 2000...Those retainers are aluminum..
That welded chamber head was and still is one my favorites....
Thank you very much,
Javier
