6th Gen radio help
So ive spent the last hour trying to fix my mothers 1999 Civic's CD player. Its an LX with the stock radio and a 6 disk CD changer in the back trunk. The radio works fine but when i press the "CD/Tape" button on the dash to switch to the 6 disk CD changer it does nothing and the radio just keeps playing. (The CD disk changer used to work fine, but hasnt for the last month or so all of a sudden) I've got the whole damn dash taken apart and the center console/climate control/radio out too hoping i could find something, but nothing. Only thing i have noticed is that on the back of the factory radio are two plug in boxs, but only one was plugged in. I searched for maybe a loose plug somewhere which would activate the CD/Tape but found nothing at all behind the dash. Is this just how the back of stock 6th radios are?
Damn 6th gen's.
I've been bamboozled.

If the changer is a Honda unit, there should only be one DIN-type cable going from the radio to the changer...
If that cable is plugged in, then have you given any thought to the possibility that the changer just took a ****?
