Default Half shaft leaking

I'm going to assume its because of the seal on the tranny although it looked perfectly fine before I installed the tranny to the motor. I called up my local Honda and the jackass there said there is no seal on that side just the other side. I can't seem to find the part # on slhondaparts or majestic so does anyone know if its the same seal as the one the axle goes straight into? Thanks

They are both the same part, I when through a clusterF$*K trying to get my halfshaft to stop leaking trans oil, never use any other seal other than a honda seal, it fits so much tighter around the yoke. Those seals get worn out and lose tension over time, Mine was extremely worn compared to the new honda seal.

The output shaft seals on the tranny are two different parts i recently replaced mine & found out the hard way Napa is the only place that had mine in stock everyone else was special order. about 10$ all together

DONT BUY NAPA SEALS. They look nothing like the oem piece, which has a rubber protruding lip, plus it seals like crap, I went through three of them, a halfshaft, and finally an oem seal to fix my tranny leak. Napa and places like autozone have two different seal types, and they list the wrong parts for the b16 trans (for some reason, they think the S40 D series trans uses the same parts as the S80 and S4C trans)
