I BOUGHT A DC2!! pics inside!
Well...the day finally came! I found a 95 gsr with only 60k chassis miles! No motor (theft) and no tranny. The guy is selling it with brand new A+ coilovers (gonna sell) and 18x7.5 Nippon Racing wheels (gonna sell). Anyways, the chassis is really clean. The exterior is practically immaculate! Well...I know its not a true bred R, but this is my plan:

Isn't it funny how Type R owners want to remove their stickers, and non-Type R owners want to put the stickers on? Just thought of that. Nothing personal.
i live in WA and drive with the AEM. just drive with common sense and you'll do fine.

I know its not an actuall ITR, thats why I asked whether or not I would take much heat for it. I'm trying to stick with all JDM/OEM parts. My eventuall goal is to have a replica JDM ITR. There aren't too many ITR's in WA, so this will be unique, in the fact that unlike most of the ricers with Si-r stickers and type-r whatnot's, this will actually be as close to the real thing as you can get.
But it seems that the definition of 'rice' is changing everyday, i'm not worried about that at all, i get called rice for just having a loud exhaust on my DA (tanabe), and it is just about as anti-rice as you get. I'm not trying to be exclusive, I don't have the money to be able to afford ITR #xxx, I just want to be completely JDM/OEM, and the DA isn't fullfilling my needs.
And BTW, does the Comptech IceBox have the same sound during VTEC as the AEM CAI? The only reason I would be sticking with the AEM is because of the sound. The power difference is so little between the 2 that it wouldn't matter. I'm assuming that it is because the AEM has the resonator removed...but it could be the piping, thats why i said I was stickin to the AEM. If the IceBox has the same sound, then I'll consider it also.

daily bandwidth...shitty....
picked up the car for 3. This is a continuing project. Not everything on that list will be done at the same time (obviously). I only have about 7k, and I've seen no used Type-R for under 13k, and ya, i've been looking. Plus, they want to raise the damn rent
so that will slow down my income a bit. Considering I can do pretty much all the install work myself, I think for about 10k I can complete the project. I already have the JUN internals, not in the motor, but ready for install...
Probably wont do the ITR stickers now...and yes, the JDM ITR side skirts are the same as the USDM ITR side skirts...I guess I was getting used to typing JDM in front of everything
