i switched my throttle body and then my speedometer died. i checked and cleaned the plugs too, but it still wasnt working. beforehand, my speedometer would die, but it was only once in a long time. and now, it hasnt been working at all. the check engine light also turns on after driving the car around for like 5 mins. the engine still seems fine and it doesnt stall or anything. and right after i turn the engine off, the engine light dies. but then after driving it around again, it comes on. any ideas? thanks in advance.

 

Had the same problem and after checking all the fuses under the dash I found two of my fuses blown out so I'd start there. Good Luck

humm...... did you clean the IACV and set the TPS correctly ? Cleaning the speed sensor on top of the tranny would and might help try that. As far as your CEL I would see what code its calling for and start to get a fix on the code ASAP. Good luck bro
