What wheels will clear the Wilwood 12.2"/Dynalite setup?
After tracking and abusing a set of SSR Comps (16x7.5", 4-100, +43)... I bought a set of Enkei RPF1s, identical stats only they are 7" wide.
Turns out the RPF1s have a thicker "lip" in the interior portion of the wheel where the spokes meet the outer rim. This causes interference with the caliper and it doesnt look like a wheel spacer will help (the wheel rubs the caliper on the top and bottom portions)...
Basically, I would have to do some major grinding on the caliper to get it to work with the Enkeis.... I looked at the SSRs and the interior is flush/flat all the way to the spokes, hence why they cleared.
I need some help with other wheel besides SSR comps that will fit this Wilwood setup.... Any ideas guys?

team dynamics have usually had pretty damn good brake clearance, to the point that ive heard (quote of a quote from someone at fastbrakes.com confirmed in archived posts) that their 15x7's will clear the 12" wilwoods
if youre looking for 16" sizes i would fully expect those to fit.
they are heavier than either the rpf-s's or the ssr's, 13lbs in 15" sizes vs 9ish lbs for 15's of the other two

Unfortunately, Team Dynamics doesn't make 16" wheels...
Please correct me if Im wrong.
Edit: And it believe it is the fastbrake Wilwood 11" Dynalite kit that is suppose to fit under some 15" wheels.

16" sizes are listed on their website
Again, i cant say for absolute certainty whether or not the 15" TD wheels fit the 12.2" brakes since i havent tried to fit that combination myself, but i was drawing my references from this thread, wherein user Armaan apparently emailed fastbrakes <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Armaan »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Just got an email from Brian. The Pro Race 1 and Pro Race 2 in 15x7 will clear the Wilwood 12.19" big brake kit.</TD></TR></TABLE>
granted thats the TD Pro Race 1 and Pro 2, not the Pro 1.2 i lined above, but i would expect similar caliper clearance on the 1.2 vs the 1.
it might also be worth a call to fastbrakes or the like to pick their brains a bit

Ill be damned... Id could of sworn they didnt those black TDs in 16".
Id personally like to use this as an excuse to pick up a set of Volk Ce28Ns... Im guessing they will clear the Wilwood dynalites.

yeah think the volk's were another that i saw browsing through wilwood threads for my first response
TD- heavier, cheap, lots o clearance and durable as all getup
volk- lighter (lots) but $$$, no idea as to how tough they are
either way sounds good
