Forced the sell my clean lude? Help.
I love doing things once and doing it right. I wanted to buy a nice car and fix it up nice once until I could afford something crazy later in life. I bought my black, rustless 93 lude si with 63k on it two years ago.
I had to repair crazy stuff all the time, I put a really nice clutch in, I always used oem parts, even in body repair, and I'm just in the hole with it.
I'm about halfway(money spending wise) through my boost project, and I might have to pull the plug!
I'm moving to CA next year to go to Cal Poly and the damn thing wont be legal. After I get CA residency, I will be screwed! Ill have to register it in state.
This is bad! Should I SELL my money pit? Part out the 2500k worth of parts? Forget about all the parts I had to fix? Get an s2000?
But i love my prelude! Somebody tell me what to do!

Dude honestly....if u care that much, there are shops w shady techs that will pass ur car no matter what for a little extra cash.I know one in town that has this reputation...Im gonna check it out.
LOL, i had the same quarral with myself yesterday, had an offer for 8k for my 94 vtec lude and my friend was selling his AP1 S2000 for 13k I put it up for sale on a buncha forums and websites, then I was depressed all day thinking about how life would be without my lude. I spent so much time and money into my car, around 8k in mods. well anywho long story short I decided to keep my lude and fix it up with a new paint job and fix all the dings. The MAIN reason I decided not to go for the S2000 is they are super common now days, and they are almost all modded nicely. I like getting comments about my car, its rare to find a nicely modded 4th gen.
