Default pole position s03's on the R

Stockers had been shot for a year(put 1k on it last year). So did some research, and came up with my replacement. 205 50r 15 s03's. I got them at sears, they price match off the web. I like the tires, they look mean makes the car feel kinda floaty. It took 4 guys to figure out how to mount them, sidewalls are pretty stiff.

cant wait to get them broke in, still gots them nubs on the rears. Its really hard to compare to the stockers, beings how they were slicks. They dont break lose where the -slicks- would just slide though every corner.

I was originally going to put azenis on it. Couldnt find anyone that either had them, or could get them. But I think these s03's will do just fine

Good luck with the tires.

Had them on mine for a while now. Less stiff sidewalls than the Azenis, but I assume that wet tractions are better.

You should have gotten the 195's, they are cheaper, the sidewalls are stiffer, and they would fit your stock R rims, assuming that is what you mounted them on. But yes, the S-03's rock, I have them on my car as well.

I'd like to know about the load rating on the 195/50 S-O3 and what effect it would have on performance of the tire. Since the load rating is less, wouldn't it cause the sidewalls to give out more on cornering hard? I don't know, but I skipped on the 195/50's this time around, maybe next time if someone can school me on how the lower load rating will still perform well.
