Hello friends,
Last week, I was driving my friend's accord (95' F22B1) and the accelerator seemed to be a bit harder.
I asked him whether this car has been involved in any kind accident previously?
He said yes, but it was minor. (how minor? ----The airbags didn't even blowed up)
Major damage was only on driver side of the car - front bumber, head light and trun signal light.
Is this the reason for its hard acceleration? If yes, what can be done to fix it? Which part/s may be the culprit?

 

Could you please clarify;

Hard to push the gas pedal?
or
Hard to get the engine RPM up?

Zing ...Zing.... This one is flying right over my head

 

if its hard to push down the pedal, it seems to be normal for honda, my pedal is stiffer to push down than my sisters jetta or my dads truck.

My moms odyssey is stiff to push down as well.

 

i have that same car and motor. My pedal is easy as it can be to push down . Might want to check the cable. Lube it up and the the throttle body. I dont think an accident would have caused that. But thats my 2 cents.

 

make sure cable isn't binding and that the throttle body moves easily
