Default Power steering with the h swap?

we all know that it's not easy to keep. is there a way to be able to make it easier? say does someone know how to convert it to an electric pump? any aftermarket companies sell a kit? or even is there a way to bolt on the bracket further in to run one belt on the power steering pump/alternator? just a couple ideas.

Well I have the b-series pump in the car, I haven't quite put my engine in yet. I'm probably going to make a bracket to adapt the b-pump to the h-engine. i had an idea though of making it so that the pump runs inline with the alternator and crank. almost then making it a sort of serpentine system.

on an eg you need to use a h22a4 ps pump and barcket. The mate the upper part of the a4 line to the lower part of the factory civic line. And shop that makes custom hydraulic lines can do it. On an Ek you can use either the a4 setup like listed above or the ps pump, bracket from a 92-96 and do the same with the line. Its all fairly simple I ran both Ac and Ps in my 2000 si with an h swap a few years ago.

did you have to do any cutting or body work to get everything to fit? Just wondering because I have a full dual wide Visteon radiator.

I know with my F23a1 swap in my sol, I used a prelude radiator (full width) without any problems. For the PS pump, I had to cut into the radiator support as it went over the headlight. Otherwise I didn't have room for the drain tube on the pump. Might not be an issue on a civic.
I also know with the mounts I used, I had to cut one rib off the belt so it wouldn't rub on the frame rail...

If you do move the pump lower, just make sure you put the reservoir lower too. The pump needs to drain back into it. So you'd be bending some lines to make that happen.

I used the 92-96 pump and bracket in my EG. Use a die grinder to remove some metal around the upper bolt and tweak the line a little, no custom line necessary.

There's a pic on this board

I'm looking to do the same thing, searches I found were with the one sided radiator, the small one on the right side, I have full length radiator, with a h22 also, it looks so close, would be awesome it I can have p/s and ac. Don't know how I'm gonna stuff a front mounted ac condensor in there, maybe I should go back to the side by sides.
