Default dpfi to mpfi swap -[major problems]-

okay so it runs, [like ****] but it runs and it revs really slow, and #1 isnt getting fuel. and then i saw smoke, so i went under the car to see what it was, and my exhaust from the header to muffler orange hot, someone please tell me how to make it run right...see i'm no noob to the honda world, though i am to obd-0 but ive never seen this before. heres the site i got the info off of.

I'm getting ready to do the same swap. After searching through write up after write up I came across this one...

it seems to be the easiest to understand. Go over that and double check all your wires.


PS. You have the SI Dizzy and PM6 ECU right?

i just completed the swap dpfi to mpfi. but it has slow exceleration, and or no power....its running on 4 all cylinders..is there simply wiring issue i over looked? this is the link i used. what did you do to fix your problem?

did you swap the 2 wires on both ends on the TPS sensor.... the dual point wire run opposite directions of the Multi port.
