ITR Gauge Fitment Pictures
Hi every body, finally finished rebuilding my car this weekend, and I had the dash apart, so I took a few pictures of how I fit the ITR gauge, enjoy!
This is how the dash part should look like, notice how the two brackets that hold the normal cluster are removed, they get in the way of the length of the new cluster.

This is the gauge in the cluster bezel, and then a close-up of the screw that you install to hold the gauge from rattling, into the platic lip that is on top of the ITR gauge.

These the the edges of the ITR gauge that should be trimmed off, plus I have a little foam on them for further rattle protection, they are the mounting holes when putting this gauge into an integra.

As for wires, again, can't help too many people here because I have OBD2, here's a look at what I have to deal with, so don't feel like it's impossible to wire, it's not nearly as complex as what you see here(a space shuttle isn't as complex as you see here)

Turns out the pressure plate broke into a few pieces. I pulled the motor and when I got the tranmission off all these small metal pieces (dime sized) fell out. I replaced the pressure plate and clutch with stock and adjusted all the valves, working all good now, just got it back on the road saturday. I think the PP may have been defective, I showed it to my dad (AHM Field Engineer) and he said he usually never sees a PP break like that, even on abused cars.
While the motor was out I also installed the N1 crank pulley, a FPR, little sneaky shift light(in one of the vents), put ES bushings on the entire front end, replaced the Upper control arms and balljoints, and have the inner fender braces coming in soon. The car feels brand new, but now it's time to work on suspension/brakes.

I saw the same cluster swap on a civic in ny. It had almost all the same **** you do but he was a jdm freak. So he had all of the ef-9 parts he could get. And all I could do was laugh could all of the parts came from the domican republic not from japan. He even did the 0bd-1 wiring. I was going to buy it until the buyer flaked on my car.
Man I miss it.

anyway, tbone is the dude who knows all about it...i hope.
ef ect - I don't know about the speed sensor, but the STD fuel sender sends out the same signals for fuel level as an ITR fuel sender, so yes the fuel gauge will work correctly without having to switch sending units.
trinity - I'm up for chilling with you guys on friday, I know where manchester is, bought my first dirt bike from them when I was like 6 or something, and more currently got my Thermal exhaust from them. Do you guys chill in the lot, or across the street to make fun of all the ricers?

Eric Lawson, He had that in an advertisement for something, correct? I met him when I went there one day, cool guy.
I haven't been to the car show there since they first started that thing, is it really mostly rice, or has it gotten better since the beginning?

just heading down there with trinity to chill with tbone and whoever else is gonna show up.
You're my hero. Wish I had the cajones to hook that **** up myself. I'm sticking with my OBD ain't **** setup ZDyne style. I wish everything would just hook up without problems. I would do it, if I knew I couldn't screw it up. Sorry I'll stick to my standalone gauges.
