anybody know which of the generic brands is better or has worked well??

 

they are all pretty much the same, but you pay for better brand name. the generic short shifters tend to break easier, compared to the better machined skunk2, dc sports, solo, etc ones.

basically, you get what you pay for.

I bought an OBX short shifter off Ebay, and it's perfect.....No problems!!

 

i hear that the dx shifter is a little different than the others, something about the ball size? can any elaborate on that or are they all the same?
