Clutch!?!?!?!
Me and my friend installed his excedy clutch( which i dont recommend getting) and toda flywheel. After the installation we didnt grease the baring for about a month. We took the trany back off greased it up and it ran good for about 2 weeks and now it just broke. I dont know exactly what broke though. Some say the flywheel slipped others say the clutch is gone. Any possible answers or solutions???
I dont think it was the installation because it ran fine for that month even running the car hard it was fine, it is ok in neutral but in 1st and any other gear it makes a grinding sound....by itself...not reving the rpms or anything...just idoling it makes the grinding noise?
That's what happens when you don't grease a part requiring lubrication. It works for a bit and then dies. Make sure you have a shop install your axles.

sounds like you did a good job of ******* up the clutch my not lubing things you were supposed to. Exedy makes good clutches, maybe not the strongest holding power wise....but they are good nonetheless
