Default TL-S 2002 air pressure

Hi , i got Yokohama tires , 215/50 93V M+S.
when i purchased the car it had about 47PSI on them. On the Door it's saying 32PSI.
and 60PSI on max load.

So what should it be on regular use ?

And what should it be when i'm pulling my motorcycle trailer ?

thanks Dan

do 40. it's less bumpy and i think you save gas. keep all around 40 and i dont' have any problems.

unless you want to be liable for what happens to his car, I would not give advice that contradicts the owner's manul or the placard on the car. The car is equipped with with VSA and ABS that may be adversely affected by the reduction on contact patch area not to metion the fact that his tires will wear faster.

32psi is what is recommended and that is what he shold stick to. If you are personally worried about saving gas, find a car that is cheaper to operate.

More air = bumpier

What drug are you on, son?

I have an '03 TL-S and I keep the front at 38 psi and the rear at 35. Yes, 32 is recommended, but many people find that to be a bit too much on the soft side. Many people on Acurazine run higher pressure than recommended.

But that's all personal preference. I would say start from 32 in all 4, then start adjusting to your liking. That's what I did, and I find that 38/35 works pretty well for me.

Rule of thumb is 80% of max pressure listed on the tire. Keep in mind thats when the tire is cold.
