Default AEBS (meziere)electric waterpump on a B series

Has anyone ran this system on a steet car?? is it reliable? any major issues with the system

the 2 friends i know with them, have a problem with the car never getting to opperating temp, without covering the entire radiator so it gets no air flow

Did they drill holes in the tstat per the Meziere instructions? I wonder if thats the cause.
