Interested in buying a CRX..came across this one.. looked interesting.

I have talked to some people and most of them have said they wouldnt pay this much for a CRX. It has alot of miles on the body and what not.

so is 5-6k for this car really that bad of a deal? I want the car. Looks clean and its just what i want..

has anyone seen this thing in person?

That crx has a b16 swap... those arnt cheap.. if it was just a plain crx with 250 k miles i wouldnt buy it... if u could get that for around 5 it would be a steal.. if the engine was done right.

4000-4500 at most....if it was super duper clean

 

i bought mine for 7000 cdn and stock. But i did want a car i knew entire history on and babied with new paint etc.

Not a bad deal but I understand in the states theree are a lot of hybrid EF"s in canada it is hard to find a stock EF of any class............

one accident of 200 bucks
but the thing has rust on the wheel wells, which hopefully be fixed soon

then i plan to sell it and find a shell of a 90-91 crx si or a 96 hb (gsr swap it)

 

that rex was probably beat to hell and back... i think thats WAAAY too much for it. i would pay 4000 MAX... depends where he got the paint job... could be a cheap maaco job.

 

If you wanted everything that he has(color,wheels, etc), 5k isn't that bad. But I perfer to build my own car and even spend a little more. As building the car is part of the fun of being in this hobby/sport

Hey if you can get a turbo ZC like mine for $5000 bucks with a fully built engine from endyn, zdyne and shitload of gauges, drag radials and other misc, good expensive parts, its worth it. That thing on ebay shouldn't be worht more than $3000.

 

thats a Btroop car. i can almost garuantee it's been taken care of in the right way. yeah ever car gest beaten on but you take your chances with anything.

This is a very clean CRX, and all but IMO I think you would be happier if you went ahead and built a CRX yourself. THe pride of Knowing you bulit it is such a good feeling. If you buy a car that has been modded then you are kind of just showing off what others have done. Not what you have done. Again I think you should buy a CRX and build it from ground zero to what you want!!!!Just my feelings on buying a modded car.

 

nobody's getting ripped off for 5K; b16 plus CRX value plus extras, prob 5 grand; if his reserve is like 6K or something maybe not. also, you guys gotta remember not everyone knows how to swap themselves and to buy a CRX and pay to get the B16 in is gonna be more than 5K; however they're still good performance bargains compared to other cars.

someone paid 5700 for that b16, but it has less miles, and lots of suspension stuff, GSR brakes, CF hood, alarm, etc. probably a pretty good buy
