i know how to drive standard, ive had like 23 hondass. but this is a daily cruiser that i wanna keep auto but have a little more *****!!!! can anybody else help me out,

my main concern is the tranny mount, im not sure what bracket to use or what mount to use

is the existing motor mount thats welded on to the body the same for standard and manual

 

I'm kinda confused on what you're asking, of course it's possible.

You can pick up an LS Auto trans dirt cheap...

 

There was an automatic B series VTEC offered in Europe I think.

 

B20 w/auto LS transmission.

 

GET AN AUTOMATIC B16 TRANNY FROM JAPAN

 

yep, for any b series transmission that's shorter than an ls transmission, youll have to find it from the other side of the world :-/

Would never occur to me to want to have a "quick" b-series auto for a DD.

You've basically got two options.

Run a b18b tranny, or find an auto b16 tranny from overseas.

You can probably use the auto mount like any other swap .

Sure they did, the Integra GSR came in auto.

 

You will not be able to use just any mounts to do this swap , i have tried and failed, you will have to have a mount made , cause if you use the integra auto mount (tranny side) it will make the motor sit in the bay sideways , have fun .............. long story short we just did a manual swap to end the bullshit

 

I have a B16a1 auto transmission in my coupe. You have to buy a B-series mount from Europe or Japan.

instead of getting the ukdm mount why not make a extension/bracket using 2 bolts instead of one to get the motor sitting right?

yea ive heard of that, i guess theres a mount thats different...

 

why wont a auto integra mount/ mounts work?

 

Probably b/c automatic and manual transmissions have different cases!?!
