Default 300 mile trip... clutch slipping?

well monday Im going on a 300 mile trip In my ef. my ef has been running pretty solid since I did my sohc zc swap. Just did a fresh oil change and new plugs. I replaced my front tires because they were almost down to nothing. the only concern I have with the car is when I did the swap I noticed the clutch disk was starting to get prett worn down and when I mean pretty worn down. I was thinking it would have gone by now. I havent been slipping at all even under racing circumstances. so am I just over thinking or within 300 miles can a clutch go really bad.
