i switched my EF1 m23 cams to gsr cams put everything back together correctly and the car wont kick over. i have spark and fuel so those can be ruled out. the cam gears are pointing up and the crank pulley is lined up on the block im out of ideas as of now. motor will turn but it sounds like there is no compression just a whining noise almost.

any input appreciated

 

try re-adjusting the valves.....

 

could that make that much of difference considering the car was running perfectly fine before i put the other cams?

 

put my EF1 cams back in and car started up. so assuming my valves are out of adjustment.

i would think to put the gsr cams in and adjust them then the car should fire up.
