dual or single exhaust
It depends on the exhaust. I like the look of some duals, hate others. Same goes for single. Single's will make the most power. Its up to you what you want brotha.
I don't mean to thread jack, but im going to. (This thread is pointless ne who, no offense)
Zach where do you work? I want a new job.

what exhaust is that...
to the OP, you will also save like 40-50lbs depending on what single exhasut you get... The oem exhasut is seriously like 60 lbs... and the amuse r1 weighs next to nothing...

3.3 kgs!!!

I went with a dual because I feel that the S2K looks wrong without it, and gains from a single are too small to warrant the aesthic changes. Plus alot of single are angled very sharply, looks way too civic-hatch ricey imo. Dual is best

Your opinion is your opinion and the the power increase may not warrant the loss of cosmetic appeal for you, but by no means is the power increase of a nicely engineered exhaust minimal.
It is not only the increase in horsepower that benefits you, but also the loss of weight.

If 15rwhp or so is too small for you (on this car), then you've got some major dissapointment coming to ya.

obviously you dont know the reason why its angled... its pretty much common sense...
to avoid multiple pipe bend.. of course we know that would smooth out and increase the exhaust flow for + hp... ders some aftermarket that lays flat, but did you notice all the pipe bends?

As I said, for me a single exhaust ruins the look of the car from the rear, and it gets even worse when its angled, like a Megan single, for example. I think that it just looks ugly. And I'd be interested to see a dyno showing a +15 rhwp gain from only an exhaust.

The megan exhaust is a joke imo. Yea, its cheap and probably gets the job done, but I think the angle IS a bit over exaggerated.
And there are some header back exhausts that will make 15rwhp. I believe that's untuned.

A 70mm single exhaust will net you roughly 15rwhp.

IMO as well.
IMO as well.
And on another note, I can't find my dyno sheet, but I'll ask my turner if he still has it. I'll be going in in a couple weeks to get my car tuned (turbo).
But I netted 237rwhp with a 4ig intake, T1R 70mm single, berk test pipe, and AEM EMS.
