Default Anyone know the thread size on the JDM rubber clutch line?

As the title states.

It is not the same as the USDM.

I am looking for a steel braided line for my clutch.

Both ends....Seems one is bigger than the other....Of course I could be wrong about that. Been awhile since I had it off.

Unless I am missing something that won't help me unless I know the size.

You have the JDM rubber line?

You got some pics of what you are doing with that rubber line?

Thanks

My car isnt done, but i took off all the hardlines as well. Im making a completely SS line going from master to slave.

And you have the JDM clutch line from a RDH that you are replacing with this one you are making?

How hard would it be for you to make me a stainless one for my car?

Would save me a bunch of wasted time if you already have the connections and such.

Thanks.

E.

My cars not RHD, but the fitting for the master and slave are the same as USDM. If you want a custom line made i could make one for you, just have to let me know how you want it to run.

Actually that is why this post was made.

The JDM has smaller fittings than the USDM one.

Not on the slave (and pretty sure not on the master), I have used plenty of jdm slave cylinder with USDM lines. Which part of the line isnt going in? The rubber male or rubber female?

Where the hard line from from the firewall meet the rubber line.
The hard line that connects to the rubber line has a smaller fitting.

Yea thats what i thought you meant. What i was talking about for you to do (what im doing) is run the line straight from the master cylinder to the slave cylinder (no more hardlines). Thats the fitting i gave you (and what i could make you if you want). Easiest thing for you to do if you want to get a SS line to replace the rubber hose is take off the rubber hose completely and take it to a local hose guy and they can make you the exact same in SS.

I live in the backwoods of Mississippi.
No such thing as a local anything except a damn piggly wiggly.

How are you routing it?

I would want all my fittings in silver.

Im routing it under my intake manifold, hugging my head, straight down the trans into the slave. Complete tuck job.

Being stainless....heat wont be an issue at the head?

I know it won't reach boiling point of around 400 degrees but .....

When you going to make yours?

Im not to worried about the heat, this is more or less a track only car so it wont see the street.

Im going to make my fuel lines first (hopefully tomorrow), then i put my subframe back and mock up motor. It would be mid to late week.

I'm in some what of the same situation, the slave cylinder fitting is a 10mm but the fitting on the hardline is 12, but the rubber line has both 10 fittings. Maybe the Acura is setup like this.
