Default 1998 Honda Civic Hatchback !!!!!!EK QUESTION!!!!!

Alright, so I had a question.

Which would you rather pick up:

1998 Honda Civic CX Hatchback
-Clean title
-No accidents
-No frame/body damage
-Clean car fax
-80k
-Roma Red
-Original Owner
-Prestine condition
-Asking price: $4,000 (negotiable)

OR OR OR OR OR...

1998 Honda Civic DX Hatchback
-Salvaged title
-Right fender hit, but no frame damage (everything was repaired & repainted)
-65k
-Black
-Good condition
-Asking price: $4,200 (negotiable)

I just wanted to see what you guys thought would be the better deal. One of them has a clean title with 80k, or the other has a salvaged title with lower miles with 65k. Your input would be greatly appreciated! Trying to pick up an EK right now so I just wanted to know what YOU GUYS thought would be a better buy.

Common sense would tell you to get the one with the clean title. Even 80k is low for a car of that age..

Clean title. 80k is a hard find.

I would go with the clean title car; 80K isn't a lot at all.

AND body damage is a pain in the *** ... whether you're fixin' or payin'.

I'm down to have the CX model even if it has no p/w, p/s, ac, and all that other stuff. I'll just get an ac built in I guess? Summer is coming and it's hot as hell right now in SoCal.

Having a clean title one does sound better after much thought & thinking about all of your inputs. It's crazy how I found a 1998 Hatch w/ 80k for $4k and he's still willing to negotiate the price. So if he's willing, I'm gonna try and bring it down to maybe $3800. I'll let you guys know once I pick it up, and I'll make a "progress thread" up so you guys can be tuned in on whats going on with my EK. Thanks.

You'd think that the salvaged title one would be somewhat cheaper???

i made the mistake of buying a civic with no a/c thinking i was going to install a setup myself, let me tell you its pricey! i just said f*** it and sold it for one with a/c. trust me its no fun out here in so. cal. with no a/c.

Haha f'real. Down here in SoCal, you need A/C, even in the winter. Haha it's too damn blistering hot out here. How much is an A/C setup anyway? I thought it'd be around $500? or
