As quickly as people are going to be impressed with your K20 swap, they'll be just as quick to **** on your car for being an automatic.

there is no way an automatic k-series transmission will fit in the honda fit without extensive modifications to the frame rail

the k-series manual transmission already sits MILLIMETERS away from the frame rail, the automatic transmission casing is considerably bigger than that manual transmission

I think someone's working on it on another board.

Well not saying it wont work, but you'd have to compromise a huge part of the frame rail just to get it to fit. Plus if you're not getting race mounts (which are stiffer, less engine/tranny movement), you'd need even more space just to allow room for vibration when you get on the throttle and shift.

If ur gonna do the swap ***** up and learn to shift a damn car</TD></TR></TABLE>

For the same reason someone would buy an Automatic RSX or an automatic Fit. They don't feel like shifting.

Word. Of course that may not stop someone from trying.

Just because someone wants to use the automatic transmission doesn't mean they can't adapt it to the K20A2 or the JDM ITR K20A.
