ive recently bought a 1987 civic with a 1.4 12 valve engine, that i know nothing about, i was wondering if anyone can give me any info on this?

but my real plan is to fit a 1500 or 1600 v tec, to give it a lot more go!

and also i want to sort the suspension, but not sure how to go about this as it has torsion beams on the front!!

and also can somebody tell me what engine code my 1.4 12valve is, and also the code of my 5 speed gearbox? id like to find out if a v tec lump will mate to my gearbox, and how much work is involved with mountings etc.
