Default new help with body kit

i have a 91 honda civic hatch back and i received my bodykit and z-3 fenders this week. the sideskirts that came with the bodykit didnt fit and i emailed the guy, come to find out they sent me crx sideskirts. he told me to try everything else, and what didnt fit he would send me new stuff. the front and back bumpers are ok, but the fenders dont look the same as my stock ones and wont line up. what i need to know is if the hatchback and the crx fenders are different, because these are different at the bottom they dont wrap under like mine, they stop and have like an edge for mounting. can anyonehelp me with this.

i'm not totally sure if the fenders are the same, my guess is not, but in any case, if they look like trash and/or don't line up, send them back. Some body kits will need some "convincing" to get on, but if you're going to put a body kit and side skirts on, then make it fit right. Speaking of body kits, i'm not telling you by any means what to do, but are you SURE you want to put them on?? IMO, lips and subtle changes would make your civic look much better, but it's up to you. Oh, what body kit do u want to put on??? Pictures?

sounds good, you're not gonna have any trouble getting the right parts? Are you still putting on Z-3 fenders??

The actual shape of the fenders is the same (as far as OEM goes), but the CRX one differs from the hatch because of the way the trim peices bolt up on the bottom. The hatch doesn't have those. When you purchase aftermarket fenders, such as the Z3 style, not much R&D went into making them, so fitment is usually lousy. The same is true for body kits. You can try sending them back for more, but I'm willing to bet you'll still run into fitment issues. Good luck.
