Default Fan comes on often??

I took delivery of my car last week. I noticed the fan comes on really often, even when the engine is cold. Does anyone has a Fit that does the same???

With out without a/c running?

The only time i notice mine coming on frequently is when I'm stopped somewhere with the A/C running.

Without the a/c running, and its not that hot outside, like 15 celcius...
Maybe the fan is learning or something.

Yep, I noticed my fan start and stop 3 times while warming up in about 60 seconds. Temperature outside was about 10 degrees C. Fan would start and go for about 15 seconds, then stop for a few seconds, start again etc. ...

I noticed last week that when the ventilation is on defrost or half defrost/half feet the a/c starts automatically.

Thats why the fan was starting up even when it was cold outside and the motor cold also.

That's correct. The HVAC system is setup so that when you twist the **** to either half defrost, or full defrost, the AC will come on with it. The light on the AC button does not light up, but the AC is definately on.

Here's a post on how to unplug it so that the AC only comes on when the button is pressed:

Why would Honda not have the A/C button light up? Not cool.
