01 F4i Fuel gauge
I just got me a 01f4i and when i turn the key i see the fuel gauge then it goes away. I have searched and played around with it but can get it to stay. Is there some way I can get the fuel gauge to stay up?

nope, it's just a "you're low on fuel" gauge. just use your trip mileage to determine when you need to fill up.

That would be your Reserve Fuel Gauge. Don't worry, it only measures your reserve fuel, not youre whole tank. On average you'll probably get between 110-130 miles to a tank before you hit reserve.

yes when u hit ur reserve it will show a bar with F and E as well as 4 blacks.
They will start out SOLID, then the top one will blink, then the top 2, then top 3 then ALL 4 will blink.
When all 4 start blinking u better be pulling into a gas station within the next mile.
