oh course its possible. you just need some money to get it done is all.

 

A local guy has a turbo ZC 87 SI that is probably in the very low 13's, with a bit more boost and slicks it would easily be a 12 second car.

 

think h22 or R motor with a possiblity of force to push it that extra bit...you can do for under $6k

 

The John Eagle Racing 1st gen CRX runs 12s. I don't know what motor it had, but it was S/Ced. Too bad he got put out of the Quick 8 by a stock looking hatch with a turbo

I believe Tom Fujita of Portflow has an all motor 1st gen running 12's or better.

 

take one 1g 85 DX CRX, add a 86-89 Teg motor/tranny and some spray...........

13.01 @ 107 mph on slicks and a ghetto motorcycle exhaust.

 

If I'm not mistaken, the John Eagle rex has a B17 in it. I've never actually seen it run, they were always experiencing some type of technical difficulty. High powered first gens

CDE has a first gen crx with a b18c1 in it running low 12's n/a. He was up at Budds Creek too.
