Default D16z6 w/ 99 Ex tranny clutch/flywheel question

So I checked the normal sites like HPD and SL to find part#'s for both years and they are different just like I imagined them to be. I happned to look in the sponsor marketplace and came across an Exedy replacement that had the same Exedy part# for both the 92-95 and the 96-00 clutch kits. Will a clutch/flywheel for a 95 work with the 99 tranny? TIA...

Yes they will all interchange from 92-00, the spline on the cable trannies is different.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by slowcivic2k &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Yes they will all interchange from 92-00, the spline on the cable trannies is different.</TD></TR></TABLE>

spine count on the 1988 trannys is different from the 89-00. 89 had the updated spline but still maintained a smaller clutch disk. 90+ is interchangable

Well he was referring to 92-95 and 96-99, I didn't see the point to explain the evolution of splines and disk diameters.

Going to go with the Exedy OEM replacement with either the OEM replacement exedy flywheel or the lightened. Might just go with the Exedy OEM FW because its less than 200 shipped.
