Default what chain lube do you use?

I had used pj1 but that crap got all over and I'm finally almost done cleaning it all up. I got some new stuff that my friend recommended. what do you use?

Whatever I get fo' free from trackdays or from my buddy's garage.

Otherwise, Maxima chain wax.

not all of us are oh so lucky the pj1 stuff sucks *** though. Took forever to clean the wheel, the swingarm, around the sprocket, what a pain in the ***. I want it nice and clean before I install my sato rearsets

I use Bel-ray; no flinging. Stuffs kind of expensive though, I'll be giving the dupont stuff a try that was metioned in the last thread on this subject.

Make sure the chain is dry then warm it up before you spray on the chain wax. I usually use bel-ray but its all really preference.

Okay... ONE MORE TIME!!!

WD40 is a solvent, NOT a lubricant... please change your practice.

You may use WD40 to clean a chain, but you need to oil it afterwards.

I use Phil Woods Tenacious Oil, There are many like it, but Phil was the first. Put a drop on each end plate and each shaft, rotate, then wipe of excess. Avalible ONLY in bicycle shops
