What do you guys think about having rims on stock height? A buddy of mine has 17s on his EM2 at stock height (he can't afford springs, shocks, and cambers yet) and I have to say the 7th gen Civics in my opinion don't really look all that bad at stock height. Thoughts?

Do yourself a favor and save up a little more and get suspension first. Driving a 4x4 is very disturbing to the eyes. But from what Ive seen, people who get rims first, usually get shitty rims...with polished lip.

Well he got a set of Gun Metal Motegi Traklites (my idea) and I honestly think that it doesn't look that bad. Not sure what size tires, but they aren't way too low profile, he has enough tire to where it doesn't look too terribly stupid.

traklites eh? nice forged rims but way overpriced. Im going to have to agree with Sfedai0, it does look funny if you have rims and not lowered. 17's kind of big too

I personally wouldn't do anything bigger than a 16" wheel if you're at stock height.

I plan on going pretty mild and may just get the Enkei made 16" 7-spoke factory option.

Only way I'd go with rims on stock height, would be OEM rims. Anything aftermarket looks completely out of place on a stock height car.

Where do you get those OEM rims from? I would imagine just the dealer, but if I'm wrong please correct me, also how much do those cost I like those a lot.
