brand new motor start-up........... I turned the key forward and all i heard was buzzing from the glove box area and the speedometer was going up and down like to 20-40 and i checked the vehicle speed sensor and it was fine, so i have no idea

I just recently finished putting my motor back together

-d16y8 turbo setup with dsm 450s obd1 harness, the motor was fine when i pulled it i just built the bottom end.........

any help would be appreciated thanks

It might me the Speed sensor or u got a wire crossed some where or your guage cluster fried, no check engine light correct? O yeah the needle justing up and down and like 80 standing still? Give me a buss (864)-918-2452

And few people told me try checking the starter relay switch.

 

same thing happend when my starterd died try bumpstarting it im sure it will go

check you speed senoir ... mine did it and i had to buy a new 1...

Well u didnt really say it didnt start check a ground then

 

after replacing the battery the car starts for like 3 sec then shuts off?? what could cause this?
