DA Crossmember/traction bar on a EF8 siR????
Hi,
More of a searcher than a poster but can't find what I am looking for
I am from the UK and have a 1991 EF8 siR

My question is - will a crossmember from a 90-93 DA integra bolt straight on? I know the hubs/knuckles and brakes are the same, but need to know about the crossmember!!!!
The reason being I want a traction bar for my crx, but a normal US one won't fit!!!
Thanks in advance
Biff

I don't know, but I know the knuckles aren't the same there's a website somewhere that documents the differences between the EF SiR, EF Non SiR, and DA Knuckles. Unfortunately, allthough I've heard the SiR and DA have a similar front subframe, I doubt a DA front crossmember will fit without modification but I don't know. Good luck to you either way.
Ah, I always thought they were the same/or atleast fitted an ef8 chassis
Hopefully soneone can answer my question and the others from the person above for definate

i'm pretty sure they wont fit... seems like different bolt locations http://www.explicitspeedperformance.net/TBS.html
DA knuckles will fit, that is true, but they aren't the quite the same, IIRC they give positive? camber compared to stock, not really a problem.
If I were you I'd take off the front crossmember and take lots of measurements and pictures. Then way we can check out the specs and see what they look like compared to to non-SiR crossmembers. Then hopefully someone can measure a stock or aftermarket DA crosmember and pitch in.
