Alright! OEM Optional CD Changer Controller
Nice... Just picked this thing up. Original optional 4th Gen CD Changer Controller. Haven't seen one of these in a long time.

and ordered a new CD Changer attachment kit for the '92 long console. Console insert and all the neccesary hardware for the changer.

I wonder how many 1992 Prelude buyers opted for the 6-disc changer... must've been expensive.

I have it, but don't use it. I don't think it's all that uncommon. I believe most VTEC's came with it. You coulda just bought mine.
What makes you not want to delve into the aftermarket units?

I'll probably use an Alpine changer. Just need to get an Alpine/Honda Mbus adapter.
I used to have a full system. Subs, amps, HU, etc... but it all got stolen a while back so I was glad to have kept my OEM stereo and CD-player. I want to keep it all stock now because a: I don't want to spend all the money for a whole new system, and b: I really dont need a full-blown system in my car. The stock units match the interior lighting and compliment the car and sound good enough for me.
