I have an interesting problem. The seatbelt on the back center seat of my civic got permanently locked, so I took off the back speaker cover panel and unbolted the seatbelt harness mechanism in hopes of retracting the belt a bit to get it unlocked. However, even though I have the seatbelt mechanism off, it is still locking, and now I cant get the seatbelt back on because there isnt enough leeway. I know this explanation must be confusing as hell without pictures, so I'll get some on when I'm back home. However, does anyone know how to release the seat belt lock? If so, please help out.

i would take it to teh dealer

 

in the mean time, you can always ducktape urself to the seat

 

if it moves and its not supposed to use ducktape.
if it doesnt move and it supposed to use WD-40
