Default S14 Conversion Discussion

I am trying to save up for exterior mods on my 96 GSR and like the s14 conversion. extremedimensions.com has um listed at 1.6k. I am concerned that it is fiberglass. My car is a daily driver. While, I've never been in an accident, I am just afraid of wrecking my front when I would have dropped 3.2k on paint/shaving/install/s14conv. Does anyone else have a s14 conver. on a daily driver? what have your experiences been & you recommend it? I have started considering just getting a bodykit (WW RS) because it costs much less and would be easier to replace certain parts if something unfortunate were to happen. n-e way,i am interested to hear peoples thoughts/experiences
