ideas on possible swap
i just purchased a bone stock 93 eg dx coupe, for like $1500, it has a new black paint job. but anyways my friend justin and i were talking and he suggested fully building an ls bottom end with b16 heads, then boosting it any where from 8-20 lbs. what do u think? also i want to slam it to the ground on some coilovers, with a carbon spoon front lip with a carbon hood and trunk. on 16x8 oldschool sportmaxas with a 3 in. steplip? what do u think?

IMHO everything sounds good, but if you are going to "slam" it I woulnd't waste the money on a legit Spoon lip that is going to crack on the first bump you hit from being so low. And if you are going CF hood/trunk for weight reduction on track use that would be cool, but for everyday driving you are going to fork out around 800 dollars at best for "bling factor". And I would just build the LS motor itself and boost it, you will save more money there not having done the LS/Vtec, but this is all just my opinion. Dont get me wrong, all of what you have listed would look nice, just you can save some money and not turn your $1500 car into a $10k car. Like i said, it would still all look nice though. GL with the build and gj on the cheap find
x2 on not slamming it. if you buy a 100% legit spoon lip, and hit a curb or something in the road, you just wasted good money on another engine mod. but that is just my sole opinion. do what you want!!
yeah that would be a a waste of money, idk i am not 100 % sure on that, and not sure about the cf trunk, but eh, as soon as its done i will post pics
