What do you guys think the best match would be for an 02 Civic EX in terms of durability and ride comfort, every where in the Prelude forum, I always heard blah blah springs with koni yellows is the best.... etc. So what is the best for my Civic? Thanks
EDIT: Lowering springs by the way.

There really is no "best" spring/shock match, but given your original post I should be able to help you out. You are looking to be lowered but I take it not too low, and don't want a rough ride?
Then you don't really need adjustable struts, Tokico HP (blue) struts should do the trick. HP's can handle up to about a 2" drop, which can be matched with a set of good springs. TEIN S-Tech Springs should do it, which lower you about 1.5". This setup is going to yield the results you want without spending more money on adjustable struts and other name-brand springs.

How much do you think that would cost to get those Tien springs and either of those struts that not including labor? (I'm gonna try to do it myself)
EDIT: Well I found the Tien springs on procivic.com for $166, but I can't find any shocks for my year the highest year they go is like 2000, do you know where I can find some of the Tokico shocks?

Sweet find man thanks a lot. I just have one more question. I'm not the most mechanically inclined person, but I can fix things here and there (replaced PS pump, took apart calipers, helped put on an exhaust, replaced starter have been some of my past experiences with my Prelude). Do you think I'd be able to do the shocks and springs, or should I let a pro do it?
you need a spring compressor ($20), camber correction kit (because you are lowering), and basic hand tools (air tools are faster). should take you about 4 hours to take everything apart, and another 4 to install. then drive to get an alignment. By the way, private messaged you about the suspension.
there is a detailed DIY in the FAQ section....I am sure you will have no propblem with installing.. i did mine alone with printed instruction...goto autozone and rent spring compressor tool free...

Hey Portaman03, my messaging thing isn't working, I can get them , but for some reason I don't have a send button when I try to send one.
But what do you think is the lowest you will go on those shocks?

I'll try to get the money for the shocks and springs together, I don't think I'll be able to, because it will have to be borrowed money (just paid insurance bill) but if I do, I'll let you know as quick as I can.
