Default I cant believe this happend to Me =/

OMFG you guys aren't going to believe this !

I am coming home from nathans tonight so i pull up to a light to make a right there is only 2 lanes there 1 to go str8 1 to make a right. I had my blinker on ready to make the turn an 18 wheeler is in the left lane with no blinker on at all so i assume he is going str8. The light turns green i go to turn then out of no where the truck decides to turn right as well i go WTF there is also 2 poles on the right side of me. So there was no where for me 2 go i new i was ****** so i got ready for the impact the trucks huge steel cabin crushed my windshield, rear back seat window, my upper door is bent in badly,my sunroof was knocked off the track and bent in,the chassis area above my door is bent really bad and slashed into,my passenger side hfp side skirt is badly scratched up,my rear bumper is bent in and rubbing on my tire =/

I don't know how i didn't get hurt there is glass in every part of the car my windshield is destroyed i am just going crazy right i will try to post pics tomorrow i must get some rest tty guys soon.

Yeah man, are you sure your neck doesn't hurt or anything? Sue that guy and get him fired from his trucking job. Those guys should at least know what a turn signal is

Sounds like a bad case of truck driver not paying attention to cars at night. You were in his blind spot probably and he figured since it was so late it was clear.

I hope the best for you, expletive truck drivers... no matter how good they drive or how good their intentions are, they all suck ***.

god that sucks! well im glad your not hurt yep the truck driver just assumed their was no one in his/her blind spot. i too agree with the other poster if you feel any pain you should have it checked out, fianly depending on the damge you might want to have it claimed on total or not. totaled= new car i think so yeah that sucks
i knew i wouldnt be happy about my fg getting totaled but then again i wouldnt want to drive a fg that is werid due to the framing/chassis being damged.....

OMG that SUX! Glad to hear you are ok. Hopefully the truck driver stopped to see if you were ok, right? I would def say to take up his negligence with the insurance company and also, what did the cops say?

truck drivers always do that around here, on two lane roads they stay in the left lane and make a wide right turn. most of them have blinkers on thou!! hopefully they total the car so you can get a fresh new car.

First off, if he came up AFTER you were at the intersection, he is REALLY effed. If you came up on him and he HAD NO BLINKER, then its still his fault, technically, if he had his blinker on you are 'supposed' to let them turn first... but even that is iffy.

However, even after all that, even if he was there and had his blinker on and you pulled up next to him, how big of a brainless turd can you be to mow over a car. I hate stupid people.

edit: Anything for sale? Sorry, gotta ask if it gets totalled.

No, he's in the win regardless. He stated that one lane was for straight, and one was for turns. Granted, the truck operator obviously wouldn't be able to make the turn in the turning lane. However, he should have straddled both lanes to indicate his intent, or have a blinker on, or something. He didn't, so he's at fault.

Too early for the "for sale" questions I think. I'd be pretty pissed if its only been about 10 hours since the accident and everyone is already calling dibs on parts of my car. Let them decide if its totalled, then go forth.

When I wrecked my SI back in December, EVERYONE on this board said it was totalled. It originially got estimated at about 11k of work, and wound up costing about 14k. I honestly wish it had been totalled but thats another story. These cars can take about 16-17k of damages and still be "fixable".

that sums it up right there.... the trucker (who is completely at fault) was going wide because as we all know, they're not little cars that can just make a quick right hand turn so.. they go wide.

sucks *** that it happen.... in for pics! Glad ur okay, and thats the more important thing!

If its totalled how much for the Navi? Just kidding. I'm just trying to prep you for the vultures that will ask all these questions. Trust me I know from first hand expirence.

On another not your Insurance will not get you a new car. Thats why they give you a check for how much they think the car is worth. So if they think the car is worth 15000 and you still owe 18000 your 3000 in the hole, which sucks. But on the other hand if they give you a check for 18000 and you only owe 15000 your up 3000. That will be a nice down payment on a new car. Those are just examples. Also you live in NY so chances are your not going to be able to buy back the car and then part it out.

Also check your insurance policy you may have rental car coverage. No wait **** that make the truckers insurance company get you a rental since it was their clients fault. They inconvienced you.

Lots of luck with everything and I'm glad that your ok!

well from first hand experience. I'll tell you that it's not going to be cheap if it isnt totalled.

The first week I had my Si I was parked in an apt parking lot and @ 4am my remote goes off. Some dude totally banged up the whole passanger side of my new car. $2,500 in damages!

So I can just imagine how much yours is going to be.

I hate hearing stuff like this makes you not want to drive!

At least your ok buddy.

I'm sad to hear that man

It sucks, but I think you're royally screwed because your payments are so high.. that insurance is going to pay out a lot less than you most likely still owe.
