The main idea here is to list parts that have been discontinued by Honda. You should include the part#/description and what car it is for EG/EH/EJ/EK/EM. Hopefully we can get a nice list going to for the archives so that anytime someone should need a part we can reference to this list.

Leather wheel cover for 96-00 civics

Some people may not know about a few of the car parts and may decide that they want one or two of them on their car after a bit of searching. Just because a part is discontinued doesn't mean that it's extremely hard to get ahold of. It's not like the civic's in this thread are 25-40 year old vehicles that are being fully restored like an old muscle car; some of those OEM parts are very hard to find.

If a part is discontinued, it's just that: discontinued. There may be some backstock at various dealerships around the country, but this does not mean you can order them from just anywhere.

If you need a part, go to your local Honda dealership and ask. They will be able to use their EPC Intra-Network system to source any parts that are available at any Honda dealership.

Having a host of part numbers that can't be used is like collecting **** if you're blind.

PS - All the people participating, you're supposed to put a part number along with it, not just a random part name.

I don't really see how helpful this can be besides making sure more people grab up the "rare" parts they think they've found. If you want a discontinued part, the part number won't help you. If you want to see if Honda can find one at a store somewhere, they can look it up by description, without a part number.

And in the event that you do want to know a part number, it's pretty easy to figure it out with the amount of sites out there listing part numbers.

Anyway though... how about the 6G ashtray or the rice shift ***** (which I don't think I've ever even seen before)?
