You can run about 16 psi safely, its really all in the tune. Get a good tune, do it right the first time and you will thank yourself later.

How much power are you looking to make ? Any ideas on a manifold ? If your not looking for an insane power setup, and not looking to spend a lot. I would probably say something like a log manifold, a garrett turbo to start off with.

You have two options, either do alot of research first, THEN peice together your own turbo setup...

or two, give me what kind of budget you have and I can point you in the right direction for a kit.

stock b series and sc61's are dyno queens...they don't utilize the powerband as well as plenty of other turbos out their.

before boosting, make sure your engine is healthy. Do a compression check, other things like new water pump, timing belt.
As far as building your own turbo, the main part is your fuel management. Don't be cheap, stay away from fmu. Do a lot of research..

you dont understand how fast 300 hp is in a honda. Plus with the ability to turn it up. You should be able to walk the K20 hatch no problem. ( I didnt note what car you were in) but unless super super heavy I couldnt imagine it keeping up.

DONT CHEAP OUT. no matter what way you go other wise low power and BOOM. DO it right or dont do it..
