96 lx accord with a h22a jmd engine swap with accord tranny.The biggest headache, my EGR Valve wasnt connected The VTECH was working but check engine light stil pops up. When the VTECH kicks in my stock temperature gauge goes down....and my cruise control isnt working. What the heck is wrong with this car.

 

sounds like a major wiring issue. What ECU are you running? Did you have the wire harness professionally refurbered? If this swap was done recently i would look into checking your work.

and it's commonly misspelled but "vtech" is really vtec

I think you need to get into looking at your wiring From the sounds of things. ECU is the least of your worries.
