Default how to paint your mirrors?

I'm just trying to get an idea on how to paint your mirrors. I'm planning to paint my spoon style mirror its a white ej8. I want an idea on what kind of paint i need to use and what items i need to finish off the paint stage. thanks

I'm no autobody expert, but I'll be doing mine shortly. From my reading, it's:

Wipe down with grease and wax remover.
Scuff with 400
Wipe down again with wax and grease remover
Adhesion promoter (I got some in a can. I believe it's 3M)
Prime with epoxy primer.
Paint
Clear.

If I'm mistaken, feel free to correct. I've been reading up about painting for about 3 months.

IMO mirrors are the hardest part. its pretty tricky getting paint in all the curves and crevices, much less getting it lay evenly. I ran the clear on my mirrors 3 times before i finally decided just to cut and buff the runs out. They still dont look all that great.
