License Plate Bracket for non OEM Bumper
I just purchased a CRX with an after market bumper. It does not have a bracket to mount a plate. Not having a plate in Illinois can draw a lot of unwanted attention. Anyone got a good vendor I can get something from? I have no problem drilling holes in the inside lip of the bumper to attach something.

that sure helped him
At my local advanced and Autozone shops they have license plate brackets for the front that are fairly cheap and decent looking in just a simple black frame with four mounting points that ur plate and frame then screw into. I would check there if i were you.

Actually I was looking for something more along the lines of this:

I know the brackets you are talking about at Advance. It would bolt to the front. I want to bolt it to the underside. It looks a lot more professional, which is something I'm attempting to remedy with this car.

He never said it was a bodykit. He just said it was aftermarket, which just means not OEM from Honda. If it is a bodykit though I agree with you.
