Default major problems plz help

first of all i have searched for a couple days in many different places. so a little history; 2001 ex, @73k threw a rod, repaced motor with 03 non-vtec motor. yeah i know i could have just changed heads and been okay, but didnt realize it untill the motor was sitting in the car.i saved up for 7months to get the motor and wanted it in. other than my mere stupidity here's what i got.

before the motor blew, rev limiter went to about 3800-3900. once i put the new motor in, same thing. wasnt to worried about it. just thrilled to have my car back.

new problem; no tach, water temp, flashing green key. car wont take a load; it seems like needs to be shifted at 2000 rpms. after about that it just bogs and wont go any where. before i lost the tach and stuff, when i started it, it reved up to about 1500 then droped to about 400. it did this about 3 times while something would click behind the glove box(sound like a relay clicking). so its not even like i can take to to auto zone and read the code(s) and clear it. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

you are going to need to use the LX ecu and also get the key flashed to the ECU. read the codes then we will start from there.

Good luck

okay motor is good. switched to my other vtec head(just in case), did a compression test, looked at my pistons, all good. now my problem is i need an ecu. took it to honda and they cant even get into the computer. it wouldnt bother me if i could drive it, but when the computer went it took out the immobilizer. so im looking for an ecu, if anyone has an extra one please, please let me buy it. thanks for the responses, and yeah i know should have switched computers. sorry no pics of everything pulled apart
