I can't say I've ever noticed or touched mine but do the valve covers get hot, and if so I don't think that paint will hold up well.

i did mine 2day, you can buy special spraypaint @ Lowes for about $5 a can. This paint will withhold up to 1200 degrees F. I did myne white ill post pics 2moro

Those are not really the valve covers are they? You mean spark plug wire covers?

yeah this plug cover look good my fren ayenoc from 8thcivic have dis cover...
